Southshire Roller Derby would love to welcome new skaters, officials and volunteers to our league.

Our next New Skater Orientation (or “fresh meat intake”) for ADULTS will be held on Sunday, April 23 at 6 p.m. at our clubhouse at 441 Water St. in North Bennington.

No skating experience is necessary, just the willingness to get out of your comfort zone a little bit. Adults (over 18) of all genders are welcome. We will teach you everything you need to know, starting with the most basic skating skills. You will have the opportunity to skate, so wear comfy clothes and bring some water.

If you’d love the derby experience but aren’t sure that skating is for you, come anyway. There are plenty of very important ways to be part of the league without ever strapping on a pair of skates or hip checking anyone!
